Most of the roads around the chapel have parking restrictions which only apply 8
a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday, which means parking is not a problem for most
services. In addition there is a car park between Stuart Street and Regent Street
on Sundays. At other times there is the multi-storey car park in Regent Street and
the public car park in South Road, both within 200m of the chapel.
Bethel Strict Baptist Chapel, Luton
We are a Baptist church, completely separate from the Baptist Union, independent
and self-governing. In doctrine we hold fast to the doctrines of salvation by grace,
commonly called Calvinistic, contending earnestly for the work of the Holy Spirit
in the new birth, and this bringing forth the fruit of a godly, upright life.
We use the Authorised or King James version of the Bible, considering this is
the most accurate translation and faithful to the original languages. We sing traditional
hymns. Our hymnbook is Gadsby’s Selection.
